So, this is the end?

Not at all; in fact, it is just the beginning!

Radio is a massive subject, a science waiting to be discovered and experimented with.

1. Try out a little of each of the subjects covered here; see what floats your boat. The hobby is all about experimenting and discovering new things

2. Watch YouTube and other videos or books on each subject

3. Listen to each band, mode, and commercial as well as amateur or metrics

4. Build gear and antennas. Antennas can be built  from old tape measures and coat hangers (Metal ones, of course)

5. Join an amateur radio group or start one, either in real life or on Facebook, Reddit, etc.

6. Radio changes with the time of year, so please don't dismiss any activity at first listen.

7. Get an amateur radio licence or use PMR446 or CB radio, and communicate with friends

Maybe start your own YouTube channel, as I did 5 years ago to track my journey; I have come a long way!

My personal limitations are;
renting property - so can't fit a massive or multiple antennas,
budget - why spend a fortune? I worked most of the world on 30 watts,
location on one side of a hill

Yes, this channel doesn't have a massive following or sponsors telling me what to do and when, but I am authentic and enthusiastic and that is what keeps me going.
